Monika Goebel has been forging her background in psychology, theatre arts, and studio arts into her passion for costume design. Following into the footsteps of her grandmother, a hatter and boa-maker, she enjoys surrounding herself with color, fabric, and texture to bring the essence out of characters on stage and screen.

With her MFA in Costume Design from Academy of Art University, she pursues in particular the design and construction of dance/ballet costumes that underscore the dancers’ graceful movements.
